Therapeutic indications

Disinfection and cleaning of the skin (lower, sores, burns, etc.); disinfection of external genitals.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to hypochlorite sodium or any of the excipients.

Population

AMUKINE MED 0.05% cutaneous solution applies locally, without further dilutions, by means of: - washing, bathing, irrigation; - tablets soaked; - wet bandage. AMUKINE MED 0.05% skin spray applies locally, without further dilutions: - by applying the spray directly to the area to be treated; - applying the spray on gauze tablets; - applying the spray on bandages. Remove the spray until the area to be treated evenly. A single delivery is 0.7 ml of solution. Repeat applications as needed. Do not exceed 6 daily applications.

Conservation

Store in a cool and dry environment protected from direct sunlight. Store at a temperature below 30 °C. Close the bottle of the solution after each use. For the spray box, after each use re-enter the protection cap on the dispenser.

Warnings

The product is only for external use. Do not use for prolonged treatments. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results consult your doctor. Ingestion or accidental inhalation may have serious, sometimes fatal consequences. Avoid contact with eyes. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to phenomena of sensitization. In this case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor to establish a suitable therapy. The presence of organic materials (proteins, serum, blood) reduces the activity of antiseptic. The topical application of the product can dissolve blood clots and cause bleeding. Keep the medicine out of reach and view of children.

Interactions

Avoid the contemporary use of other antiseptics and detergents.

Effects

Hypochlorite solutions can be irritating to the skin: it is possible to occur, in some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation). Allergic contact dermatitis cases have been reported.

Overdosing

No overdose damage has been reported under normal conditions. Accidental ingestion can cause irritation and corrosion of mucous membranes with pain and vomiting, pharynx and larynx edema and rarely puncture of esophagus and stomach. In case of accidental ingestion, administer water, milk and other liquids, if necessary administer antacids and sodiotiosophate solutions.

Contraindications are not known to the current use of pregnancy and nursing.
