Description
Medical-diagnostic device in vitro.
Sensors for quantitative determination of the glucose level in the whole fresh capillary blood; are to be used exclusively with the instrument GlucoMen areo 2K.
Sensors have been designed for monitoring and self-control of people's blood glucose levels with diabetes mellitus; can also be used in hospital by medical-sanitary personnel.
It is not expected to be used in diagnosis or screening of diabetes or use in infants.
Do not change your treatment based on the results of the tests without first consulting your doctor or health care professional.

Mode of use
1. Introduce a new sensor GlucoMen areo Sensor (white color) in the opening for sensor input. The drop symbol will start flashing on the display and the "Glu" glucose symbol will appear on the bottom left. If nothing appears on the display, remove the sensor, insert it again in the opening and wait for the drop symbol to start flashing.
For information on how to use the punched pen, read the relevant instructions for use.
2. Keep the sensor end in contact with the blood drop until the control visor is filled. At that point you will hear an acoustic signal (if enabled) and the display will display a countdown.
3. Read the test results. An acoustic signal will announce the appearance on the screen of the test result with the "Glu" glucose symbol.
4. To remove the sensor, press the expulsion button. The tool will turn off.

Warnings
Keep the instrument, sensors and other components away from reach and view of children. Small parts may be a danger of suffocation.
Handle the bottle and sensors with clean and dry hands.
Dispose the bottle and the sensors used in accordance with local regulations.
Handling blood can be dangerous: pay extreme attention by handling blood, sensors, hands and instrument.

Conservation
Store the sensor bottle in a dry place at a temperature of 4-30°C. Don't freeze. Avoid heat and direct sunlight.
Store all unused sensors in the original bottle and after picking one, securely close the cap to preserve its quality. Do not transfer sensors to other containers.
Do not use sensors beyond the expiry date.
Do not use sensors over 12 months from the first opening of their bottle. It is recommended to write on the label the date of disposal (date before opening + 12 months).
The strips in closed packaging are valid 24 months from the date of manufacture.
